Actress

Elena Bonelli graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature at the Sapienza University of Rome, trained in the artistic field at the Gigi Proietti Theater Laboratory and then continued her studies at the Sharoff Academy and at the Actors Studio in New York, with Susan Strasberg.



Career

Her television career began with Rai programs with Gigi Proietti, directed by Antonello Falqui and Enzo Trapani, then in Mediaset with Pier Francesco Pingitore. This was followed by participation in major, popular fiction on Rai1 and Canale 5, including La Piovra 6, Pride, Vivere and others.

Distinguished director, Roberto DeSimone recognized her talent and chose her as the protagonist in the theatrical presentation, “La Lucilla Costante”, which established her as one of the best theatrical performers of her time.

This became the decisive moment in Elena Bonelli’s career, to dedicate herself, body and soul, to the magical world of theater.

The recital is Elena Bonelli’s great love that finds fulfillment through shows of various types dedicated to great female icons: Anna Magnani, Gabriella Ferri, Juliette Greco, etc.

Since the beginning of her theatrical career, she has been directed by such great talents as Giancarlo Cobelli, Luigi Squarzina, Gianni Borgna and then Stefano Reali, Tato Russo, Enrico Maria Lamanna, Patrick Rossi Gastaldi and many others.


